“Company” (referred to as either “the Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Our” in this Agreement) refers to Theodore “Ted” McNeil and HealthBenefits, LLC dba BenZen Insurance & BenZen Health. “Service” refers to the Website. “Terms of Use” (also referred as “Terms”) mean these Terms of Use that form the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding the use of the Service. “Website” refers to benzeninsurance.com, benzenhealth.com, getbenzen.com or any website of ours that links to this page.

Using our Service means you accept the conditions that apply to all visitors. By continuing to use our service you represent that you are over the age of 18.

Our Service is free to use. We provide education, reviews, and quoting services at no cost. At times we may allow users to post comments. We are not responsible for the content of users, but reserve the right to remove content at any time.

We respect the intellectual property rights of others and will respond to any claim that content posted on our website infringes a copyright or other intellectual property infringement of any person.

Our Website and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain our exclusive property. Our Website is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of the United States. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of our company.

Licensing

Anyone giving advice or trying to sell insurance is required to be licensed in the state they do business. HealthBenefits, LLC is a Maryland Limited Liability Company, independent agency, and licensed health & life insurance entity NPN# 20431054. Principal Agent, Theodore “Ted” McNeil is a licensed insurance producer NPN# 16365557 currently registered with Health, Accident, and Life lines of authority in:

We do not intentionally solicit or try to sell insurance outside our jurisdiction but service all states.

Outside Our jurisdiction, we may partner with agents holding active licensing in the applicant’s respective state. (see Compensation)

Compensation

While our Website and Service are free to use, We are a for-profit business. We provide information and education on insurance, health, and financial products, write reviews, and create content at no cost to consumers.

As a licensed insurance agency, We act as an agent and work with multiple carriers and technology partners. To ensure you receive the most efficient enrollment experience, your coverage request may be handled in the following ways:

• Direct Assistance: You may be assisted directly by Ted McNeil or a licensed agent of BenZen Insurance. In these cases, we typically act as your primary Agent of Record (AOR) under NPN: 16365557.
• Partner Assistance: When you request a quote or apply for coverage, you may be transferred via a link or phone routing to our ACA Certified Partner, HealthSherpa. In those instances, BenZen Insurance acts as a referring entity, and you may be assisted by HealthSherpa’s licensed enrollment team under NPN: 17260019.

We may be paid a commission or referral fee from our partners or insurance carriers. This compensation does not affect the final price to the consumer; insurance companies file rates with the state, and our agents/partners cannot modify those rates. Any commission is paid by the carrier or partner, not the client.

We do not collect premiums or any payment from consumers, nor do we charge additional broker fees for our Service. Your privacy is our priority; we don’t share personal information outside of these secure enrollment partnerships, ensuring a safe experience.
